...is a medical practice near Baltimore, Maryland at Greenspring Station in Lutherville specializing in weight management for patients in need of any amount of weight loss.  We treat patients from those who are simply overweight, to those who are morbidly obese.  We believe that obesity is a chronic disease with a physiologic cause (just like diabetes or hypertension) that requires ongoing treatment--preferably by a qualified physician.    We therefore do not feel that obesity is due to a "weakness" or "lack of willpower."  We do not have one set weight management program for every patient, though we frequently recommend a low carb ketogenic diet. We tailor weight loss plans to meet the individual patient's medical, social, psychological, spiritual and economic needs.   We have a variety of different plans; and since we are a medical weight loss practice, we can use such modalities as prescription medications, vitamin B-12 injections, and other supplements to assist with your weight loss efforts when appropriate.  The Center for Medical Weight Loss in Baltimore is conveniently located just North of Baltimore, Maryland at Greenspring Station in Lutherville, Maryland.   We accept most major health care plans; and we offer patient care hours Monday through Thursday.
