The Center for Medical Weight Loss is a medical practice near Baltimore, Maryland at Greenspring Station in Lutherville specializing in weight management for patients in need of any amount of weight loss. We treat patients from those who are simply overweight, to those who are morbidly obese. We believe that obesity is a chronic disease with a physiologic cause (just like diabetes or hypertension) that requires ongoing treatment preferably by a qualified physician. We therefore do not feel that obesity is due to a "weakness" or "lack of willpower." We do not have one set weight management program for every patient. We tailor weight loss plans to meet the individual patient's medical, social, psychological, spiritual and economic needs.
